I was born in Thames and bought up on a farm on the Hauraki Plains. I love sport and I previously played representative hockey for Hauraki Plains College and Thames Valley.

I am from a blended family and I moved to Whangarei in December 2007.

I have previously worked for a Real Estate company in Ngatea and a Hot Bread Shop in Whangarei. I have completed a Computing and Business Administration Course at Regent Training Centre.
