Pip Howard - Farm & Country Sales

Please accept our gratitude for all that you have done to make the transition from Australia to New Zealand a smooth one.  You have been more than the agent who sold us the property, but like a friend, you took care of all the details which we would have found difficult otherwise.  Making yourself available, often at short notice, for property inspections prior to and after singing the contract certainly made things run smoothly.  We would certailnly recommend your professional services to any friends considering the purchase of real estate in the area.  Thank you for always keeping us informed of proceedings up to settlement and also for your lovely and unexpected house warming gift - a wonderful surprise.
Phil and Vicki Morris

Kathy Elliott

Doreen and I were very impressed with Kathys very professional approach to the open homes and communication, even though we were out of the country part of the time, emailing and texting were not a problem in keeping us up to date with progress.  With Kathys help we were even able to make a tactical change from a shore.  The sale was wrapped up within four weeks with a very successful auction (of which kathy saw to it that interested parties attended).  The success of the auction was due to Kathys presentation and the opportunity that all interested parties where given.  I would strongly recommend Kathy and use her again especially under the auction system, as she in not one dimensional.

The Allens Team - Relay For Life

Hi Gary, Sharon, Cheryl and Team

I just wanted to acknowledge the enormous effort and incredibly professional marketing you have done around the Allens Amazing Race. There are a number of specific points that have impressed us…

1.    1. Thank you for ensuring that the information around Relay is factually correct, you have no idea how often team fundraisers (and media) have us labelled as the ‘Walk for life’,   ‘Run for life’ or ‘Cancer Foundation’, it is very important to have the branding correct as you can appreciate. The building of brand recognition – (even for a charity J)is the only way to ensure continued success.

2.     2. The wonderful positive feedback you have given to the press will no doubt have huge benefits for Relay and the Cancer Society as we grow public understanding, and hopefully participation at the event.

3.    3. And finally – we are in the midst of our other ‘busiest’ time of the year – Daffodil Day, and we have out of necessity pulled back our focus on Relay and there you guys all are giving us such AWESOME PR. Thank you soooo much J we want to clone the lotta you.

Thanks again guys, so very thrilled, regards Paulette, Kerry and Team

Aaron Ratcliffe
We have known Aaron Ratcliffe for the past six months after we approached him when we decided to sell our home and down size. Aaron has guided us through every step required to sell our home. At time we have been very stressed but Aaron has been there to reassure us that we would sell despite the house market declining in value. We were new to the challenge involved in selling our home but Aaron was always willing to answer questions and steer us in the right direction. Thank you Aaron; you have been a very cheerful, positive salesperson and we have valued your friendly approach. Good luck for your future endeavours.

Joanne Stevens

Having used the services of Joanne Stevens I felt this unsolicited testimony might help future prospective clients in making their decision in what’s one of the most important financial transactions they’ll make!!

Don’t be deceived by her quiet approach!!!

Beneath that quiet exterior beats a heart of steel, and an absolute determination – not just to get a sale, any sale – but to get the very best possible sale (and perhaps onward purchase) for YOU, her clients.

Joanne has been a 1st class Sales Agent – supportive in any possible way and with nothing being too much trouble.

She’s the standard against which any future agent will be judged on my return to the U.K.

Her marketing strategy and assessment has been faultless. She’s given sound advice throughout – often NOT what I’d hoped to hear, but absolutely correct!!

This resulted in a firm sale in what’s been the most difficult of times known to the housing industry for many years.

Never pushy, always there to support, she achieved the best possible sale to allow me to move on!

I’ll always be glad to have met her and used her services, thankful for the lengths, she’s gone to in order to achieve that successful outcome.

I’ve happily recommended her to friends and now to any future clients.

From a satisfied client.

Murray Jones

Selecting a real estate agent to sell your house isn't easy. I had listed with another agency 18 months earlier but the marketing process didn't work at that time.

Luckily my partner and I had visited a couple of open homes while we were looking to buy a house.  These particular open homes were being held by Murray Jones, of Allens Real Estate.  Murray impressed me as being an honest, credible agent with great integrity.  At no time did we feel any pressure when looking through the houses he was selling, but he was always helpful with answers to our questions when we did ask.  He was very polite, courteous and informative.

I cannot speak highly enough of his level of communication, whether in person, by phone or regular letters giving updates on each open home he held on my property. Murray has listened to my requirements and stood by them.  He was as respectful to the buyer of my property as he was to me.

I wouldn't hesitate to choose Murray again should I ever decide to sell another property.  From the first consultation, to the final settlement date, everything has gone as smoothly as clockwork.  His many years in real estate have certainly given him the edge on marketing strategy and professionalism.

My heartfelt gratitude goes to Murray for making the selling of my family home such an easy process.

Allan O'Shannessey

"We are writing to you to thank you for the marvellous job you both did in selling our properties in Fairway Drive and Te Paka Cres in Kamo. You achieved the price we wanted and both sales were secured in just over a month.
During this period we must commend you both on keeping us informed of the market values and supplying us with accurate feedback from the public viewing our properties.
I have since recommended your services to many people and will continue to do so in the future.
Thank you for your efforts and all the best for the future."

Toni Sherwood

"Recently, my sister and I were in the position of having to sell our parent's deceased estate. When looking for a real estate agent to act for us, Allens Goode Leith Realty were referred to us by other who had had dealings with them some five years previous.
Toni Sherwood and her Team fulfilled all our expectations by dealing with the marketing and subsequent sale in a pleasant and professional manner. We were impressed by how swiftly the property was sold and how smoothly all related matters were handled.
Consequently, we would be delighted to recommend Toni and her team to anyone needing the service of a real estate agent, and, furthermore, we would not hesitate to use their services again should we ever need to in the future.
We wish them well for the future."
M Pellegro and M Wood.

..............Finally we will be able to have closure and move on. Thank you for your perseverance and gutsy attitude, for your fantastic team and their hard work and for ever believing that it was going to happen. All we have to do now is follow on with the next step.
Once again our heartfelt thanks to you and your team.
Kind regards as always

Mr Rudy Veltman

"I am very pleased to have made acquaintance with Mr Rudy Veltman who is an estate agent of Allens Goode Leith Ltd. My wife and I were searching for a property in the Whangarei region at the time and we were introduced to the Allans team by our lawyer.

Generally, in New Zealand as we understand, the real estate agents are working for Vendors. However, Rudy has provided us as a buyer, very helpful advice with a professional manner. He understands our needs and makes his best effort to fulfil our requirements.

We have confidence in Rudy and would have no hesitation in recommending his services to any other prospective buyers. He is reliable and a good quality service provider."

You are all a very special team.

We would have no hesitation in recommending your team to anyone that requires the best."

I write to express my appreciation for the work done by your Tutukaka Coast Team (Chris Windust & Peter Vink) on the sale of my property.

Chris & Peter excelled themselves in their energetic marketing of the property, and this was rewarded when they completed the sale of the property. The property had been listed with numerous other agents but it was Chris and Peter who showed the way in every aspect of promoting and marketing the property……………..

Tina Subritzky

"I recommend Tina to anyone who is needing a real estate agent who goes the extra mile for her clients. Tina helped my Dad and I sell our family home of 46 years and she also found us future accommodation, suitable for our needs.

Tina re homed our many many cats for weeks before our big move and organised contractors to tidy up our section and home for us, which put my elderly father's mind at ease.

Tina thoroughly explained the 14 day auction process to us which made my 80 year old father and I very comfortable with the marketing programme.

This resulted in 54 groups of people coming through our old home. The property was sold well above our expectations.

We thank Tina for everything she has helped us with. Tina still keeps in touch with us even after our sale.

We refer her services to anyone looking for that special, honest helping hand and we thank Tina from the bottom of our hears."

Yours faithfully

Pip Howard - Farm & Country Sales
"Warren and I first met Pip Howard in August 2008 when we contacted her with the idea of asking her to assist us to sell our property. In the ensuing weeks, Pip made herself freely available to us for our questions and queries.
She discussed procedures at every step making sure we were very clear about what was happening or what was going to happen.

We received hard copies of potential buyers interest on a regular basis.

When we eventually took the property to auction, Pip was again with us all the way explaining each step. Thanks to her integrity, persistence, and sense of humour, we cam through the auction process with the property sold!
As two very satisfied Vendors, we highly recommend Pip Howard as an excellend Farm and Country sales consultant."

Once again many thanks.”

Ngaire & Grant Cooze

I found Ngaire & Grant to be very conscientious and friendly and they worked very well for me even under extreme personal hardship.

If I sell again I would not hesitate to engage their services. I was extremely pleased with the outcome of my sale with them.

Grant Cooze

This is just a few lines here to say how very, very much we appreciated your extremely kind and sensitive handling of us yesterday. It is actually hard to put into words our thoughts on it, as things were gelling in our own minds in a way that we had not even quite discened before talking it all out with you.

I can but say we have 'emotionally connected' with you, and I know that is the secret of all successful business ventures. I would say it by no means be inevitalbe that would happen, and while maybe not rare, would not be the case all that very often. Well in this case decidedly yes - a lovely feeling of being understood has occurred.  We took up a lot of your time, and felt a bit guilty about that, but I can but say, once we get full closure on the matter of whether our daughter is interested or not, if it is not as she has already indicated (but parents are always slow to take the message on board fully!!) as soon as we are fully persuaded, then we will be full steam ahead for you to get into gear. We do not have the slightest doubt you will sell it, and we will co-operate with you to get that done, as it has to go, one way or the other, and we will pare our end down as much as is possible get our property signed up.

So from our hearts we thank you Grant.  There are actually no words to describe fully how deeply affirmed we feel by you, and the compassionate understanding you have shown.  It is definitely in line with all Sheila said about you and we are so glad she recommended you.

Well all for now Grant, that is as far as we can go at this point unitl we get more clarification and also a bit more maintenance on our property.  We will definately keep you informed as to what is happening as things transpire.  All the best to you, you will continue to prosper in your work because you extend the unhurried TLC which causes people to relax and to share where they are coming from.

Many, many thanks
Shirley and Aruthur Johnson.

Sharon Ball – buyer’s specialist to Gary Younger.

Earlier this year my husband and I started looking for a home to purchase. We started out looking at open homes and dealt with several real estate agents. We found that we ended up looking the open homes up independently and then going through them, this was mainly because the real estate agents didn’t listen to what we liked and didn’t like and what we were after in the price range we were prepared to pay. Then we found Sharon Ball who won our trust and friendship by being open, hones and listening to our needs. She went out of her way to keep in touch with us, screen homes that would beet our requirements, give us good advice, support us with contacts and negotiate meetings with other agents and businesses to help us navigate the house buying process with the least among of stress possible. Sharon was great and we purchased our first in May 2009.

if we ever wanted to repeat the experience we would definitely seek Sharon’s help.

Thank you so much Sharon for your part in making our dream come true.

Kassi & Joe Fleming.

Thank you for your assistance so far. You are one of the very few elite group of people that make awesome property sales people (I have met a high number of agents during my quest for a property). The industry needs more people like you.

Kathy Elliott

I would like to thank you very much for selling my home for me.  You made what can be an uncomfortable, frustrating experience into a pleasurable one.

When I wanted to sell, I invited you around to appraise my home and advise me on the best way to achieve a sale.  You advised me on the state of the market and said that it would not take long to find a buyer for my home.  Well, true to your word, you presented me with an acceptable offer after just 9 days on the market.

I believe that your passion, knowledge and experience were a major factor behind the successful outcome.  So once again, thank you for making it such an easy and stress free experience.

Murray Coop

It is with pleasure to write this reference for Murray Coop in relation to his service regarding the sale of 4 Keyte Street. I found Murray not only to be professional in ho he conducted the transaction between me and the Vendor but also his understanding to our dissimilar life situation. I felt supported with positive comments and vision as I was purchasing a doer upper that I had very little knowledge about. His input was valuable with knowledge of location, sale prices in the area, to giving information on how to organize a property as I had no idea how to do this either. Once the transaction was completed he offered to replace the locks on the house (that he wasn’t legally responsible to do) due to what the house was utilized for before purchasing and my concerns around safety THANK YOU Murray. His PR skills were of high standards and I recommend his expertise to others in the community.

Steve Elliott

From our initial conversation, Steve’s honesty and realistic approach to all aspects of our query, shone through.  These qualities were evident throughout the marketing of our property.  We were constantly kept very well informed with progress reports of any action and weekly updates.  These written reports were very effectively and efficiently communicated to all parties via email with comprehensive attention to detail.

Marketing a family property, particularly when it is a Deceased Estate can be surrounded by a huge range of emotions.  Steve always demonstrated a kind, thoughtful and compassionate attitude and firmly established himself as a trustworthy and professional friend.

I believe that we were very fortunate to have chosen a real estate agent with Steve’s numerous qualities to successfully market our property.

Tracy Noble
We came to meet Tracy when wanting our property at Reotahi sold.  We found her to be focused and interested in getting us the right sale.  She listened to all our requests, given that it was her first assignment.  She was extremely efficient and prompt in communicating with us, particularly as we were geographically spread North to South Island, and because of difficulties with the present tenant.  Tracy is a woman of integrity with a very pleasant, accommodating personality and we would certainly recommend her Real Estate skills to friends and family.

"Thank you very much for your support with fees this year, it has helped me greatly!

When I first went down I thought it was goint to be freezing! Of course I had been down to Christchurch before to go skiing and sightseeing so I had some idea as to the temperatures. It wasn't as chilly as I thought it would be, I suppose because I got used to the gradual change in temperature (my parents thought it was freezing when they came down, I thought they were pulling my leg). 2009 has been a challenging but enjoyable year, juggling between uni, swimming and partying!!! It was challenge when exams came up as often there was swimming competition the weekend before and so a great deal of study was done on pool side or instead of having a sleep in between morning and afternoon sessions,

One of the papers I did was reallly fun to do, it involved team work as well as individual thinking which inclulded a couple of projects to get the brain stimulated. One of the individual projects that was given as an assignment involved creating a structure that stood on the surface of jelly with as small a foot print as possible but it had to be as tall as you could get it and 5 eggs had to be supported on the sturcture and they had to be as high up as possible.

A couple of functions held by the ENSOC, a very large engineering society, involved lots of costume creations and were loads of fun! For one of the functions a group of us dressed as the Incredibles.

With final marks back just last week, I came with a final average of  a B- which was not as good as the goal I had set (B+ minimum), however I am happy to say that I passed every paper.

Thank you again for the step up, it has been truly appreciated.

By being awarded this prestigious scholarship it has given me a lot of confidence, in addition to the many doors it has opened. I wish to use this scholarship wisely, and use it for my fees regarding the Bachelor of Science degree I intend to complete at Auckland University. I possess a lot of excitement towards my chosen field of study and I wish to embark on a journey to be qualified to help people, in my hometown of Northland. This scholarship has helped me a step closer to achieving this dream.

"Dear Mr Sykes
Thank you for your support of WBHS Prizegiving last night, we were delighted to have Pip Howard present, to present the Allens' Scholarships to Aaron Millar, Year 13. Aaron is a fine young mans, he is a fiercely competitive and talented athlete and swimmer - and he is also a capable academic student as well. Not only is he involved (as you know) in the hatea Harriers, he is also a member of the Northware swimming club. Next year Aaron plans to head to University to undertake an Engineering degree - and I have every confidence he will handle the rigours of tertiary education with ease. Your financial support will certain ease his fiscal worries, that is for sure!
Thank you again for your support . All the best for the rest of 2009, and may I wish you and your staff a positive and rewarding 2009."

"Dear Robyn and the Team at Allen's Realty
I am writing to inform you of my first year of university at Otago. I have just completed my for first year of a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Neuroscience and I have enjoyed every minute of it! I have learned so mucyh information about the human body form the bones, muscles and organs to the microscopic cells inside, the small but vital processes of repiration to the physiology of a firing neuron.
The year has gone so quickly and I have had an awesome time, from meeting new friends to experiencing everything Dunedin and the university has to offer.
My results were fine, consisting of A's & B's but next year I hope to better them.
In 2009 I will carry on in my bachelor degree, with pharmacology papers as well, as I want to lean towards pharmaceuticals: another possible option I have come accross is after completing this BSc, is entering into a post-graduate degree in Optometry at Auckland University. There are many options.
And lastly I want to thank you guys at Allens for the Scholarship. It has given me more opportunity to learn and grow as a person and to eventually help the wider community up here. I cannot thank you more, it is hughely appreciated."
Thankyou again,
Yours sincerely

Now I feel as though I can focus on my course and not worry too much about how I'm going to manage financially. I know that getting this scholarship has not only made a difference to me but to my whole family. Allens Celebrity Cricket Match and Charity Auction

"Congratulations to the Allens Team

The professionalism of your organisation, marketing and coordination of the day was outstanding. It was a pleasure to work with a positive team that made the day "happen".

A simply wonderful occasion and stunning result for North Haven Hospice.

From a cricketing perspective we were able to show case Cobham Oval, provide players excellent hospitality and leave everyone in no doubt that we have something special in the North. Justin Vaughans letter to the editor of The Northern Advocate certainly endorses the value of Cobham Oval to Northland and New Zealand Cricket.

Well done to everyone!"

The organisation & coordination of the event is incredible, the marketing is superb, the management of the cricket side of things is magnificent and of course the gift of the house and all the sponsored items
is beyond belief!
Please know that up here we are totally humbled by what you are doing for us I
ve just been talking to a group of patients and their caregivers telling them about the event; and I can tell you they were really touched by the support being shown by their community.
Its when you really bring this back to the people we care for; and what they are going through; that the true extent of your generosity of spirit
is revealed.
Thank you is simply not enough
but words fail me right now!"
